And He sighed deeply in His spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation. |

And having groaned deeply in His spirit, He says, Why is this breed of men seeking an attesting miracle? Positively I am saying to you, There shall no attesting miracle be given to this breed. |

Jesus gave a deep sigh, and then said, “What makes this generation want a sign? I can tell you this, they will certainly not be given one!” |
But He sighed in spirit and said, “Why do the people of these times ask for a spectacular sign? I solemnly say, no sign at all will be given them.” |
