Then said the Jews, Will He kill Himself? because He saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. |
So the Jews said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?” |
So the Jews were saying, “Surely He will not kill Himself, will He, since He says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” |

This made the Jews ask, “Will He kill Himself? Is that why He says, ‘Where I go, you cannot come’?” |
So the Jews were asking [among themselves], “Will He kill Himself? Is that why He says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” |
Then the Jews were saying, Surely, He will not by any chance kill Himself, will He, because He is saying, Where I am departing, you are not able to come? |

Then the Jews began to say, “He is not going to kill Himself, is He? Is that why He said, ‘Where I am going you can never come’?” |
