For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted. |
For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. |
For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. |
Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. |
For because He Himself [in His humanity] has suffered in being tempted (tested and tried), He is able [immediately] to run to the cry of (assist, relieve) those who are being tempted and tested and tried [and who therefore are being exposed to suffering]. |
For in that He suffered, having Himself been tempted and put to the test, He is able to run to the cry of those who are being tempted and put to the test and bring them aid. |
For by virtue of His own suffering under temptation He is able to help those who are exposed to temptation. |
For inasmuch as He has suffered Himself by being tempted, He is able to give immediate help to any that are tempted. |
