Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. |

So our love for Him grows more and more, filling us with complete confidence for the day when He shall judge all men – for we realise that our life in this world is actually His life lived in us. |
Our love attains perfection through our having perfect confidence about the day of judgment, because here in this world we are living as He did. |
