Peter answered and said unto Him, Though all men shall be offended because of Thee, yet will I never be offended. |
Peter answered and said to Him, “Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.” |
But Peter answered and said to Him, “Even though all may fall away because of You, I will never fall away.” |
Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of You, I never will.” |
Peter declared to Him, Though they are all offended and stumble and fall away because of You [and distrust and desert You], I will never do so. |
And Peter answering said to Him, Assuming that all will find an occasion of stumbling in You, as for myself, I will never find an occasion of stumbling in You. |
At this Peter exclaimed, “Even if everyone should lose his faith in You, I never will!” |
Peter answered, “Though all the rest of them stumble over You, I will never do so.” |
