Luke 6:35

Greek/English Interlinear with Strong’s Numbers

King James Version

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
New King James Version

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High.
New American Standard Bible

“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.
New International Version

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
The Amplified Bible

But love your enemies and be kind and do good [doing favors so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting and hoping for nothing in return but considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind and charitable and good to the ungrateful and the selfish and wicked.
Wuest’s Expanded Translation

But be loving your enemies and be doing good and be lending money at interest, despairing of no one’s ability to pay back the loan with interest, and your reward shall be great, and you shall be sons of the Most High, because He Himself is benevolent to those who are ungrateful and those who are pernicious.
Phillips’ Modern English

No, you are to love your enemies and do good and lend without hope of return. Your reward will be wonderful and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked!
Williams’ Language of the People

But you must practice loving your enemies, doing good to them, and lending to them, despairing of nothing; so that your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
