Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. |
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another, even to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. |
Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, that we might bear fruit for God. |
So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the death, in order that we might bear fruit to God. |
Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in that we may bear fruit for God. |
So that, my brethren, as for you, you also were put to death with reference to the law through the intermediate agency of the body of Christ, resulting in you being married to another, the One who was raised up from among the dead in order that we might bear fruit to God. |
So, my brothers, the death of Christ on the cross has made you “dead” to the claims of the Law, and you are free to give yourselves in marriage, so to speak, to another, the One who was raised from the dead, that we may be productive for God. |
So, my brothers, you too in the body of Christ have ended your relation to the law, so that you may be married to another husband, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. |
