King James Version

For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
New King James Version

For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels.
New American Standard Bible

For indeed what had glory, in this case has no glory on account of the glory that surpasses it.
New International Version

For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory.
The Amplified Bible

Indeed, in view of this fact, what once had splendor [the glory of the Law in the face of Moses] has come to have no splendor at all, because of the overwhelming glory that exceeds and excels it [the glory of the Gospel in the face of Jesus Christ].
