Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded. |

For thus it stands in Scripture: Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen (honored), pernicious chief Corner-stone, and he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall never be disappointed or put to shame. |
Because of this it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a Stone, one chosen out, a Cornerstone, highly honored and precious, and the one who rests his faith on Him shall positively not be disappointed. |
