And He said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. |
And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” |

And He said to them, Take heed and be guarding yourself from every kind of greed desire for more, because not in the sphere of that which is in super abundance enjoyed by anyone is his life to be found, from the source of his possessions. |

And then, turning to the disciples, He said to them, “Notice that, and be on your guard against covetousness in any shape or form. For a man’s real life in no way depends upon the number of his possessions.” |
