2 Timothy 3:8

Greek/English Interlinear with Strong’s Numbers

King James Version

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
New King James Version

Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;
New American Standard Bible

And just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected as regards the faith.
New International Version

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth – men of depraved minds, who, as for the faith is concerned, are rejected.
The Amplified Bible

Now just as Jannes and Jambres were hostile to and resisted Moses, so these men also are hostile to and oppose the Truth. They have depraved and distorted minds, and are reprobate and counterfeit and to be rejected as far as the faith is concerned.
Wuest’s Expanded Translation

Now, in the same manner as Jannes and Jambres set themselves against Moses, so also these set themselves against the truth, men corrupted in mind; after having been put to the test disapproved concerning the Faith.
Phillips’ Modern English

These men are as much enemies to the truth as Jannes and Jambres were to Moses. Their minds are distorted, and they are traitors to the faith.
Williams’ Language of the People

Just as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, these people resist the truth, for they are depraved in mind and so counterfeits in the faith.
