New American Standard Bible

having a golden altar (censer) of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron’s rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant.
New International Version

which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.
The Amplified Bible

It had the golden altar (not kept permanently in the Holy of Holies, but taken in on the Day of Atonement) of incense and the ark (chest) of the covenant, covered over with wrought gold.
