Hebrews 11:7

Greek/English Interlinear with Strong’s Numbers

King James Version

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
New King James Version

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
New American Standard Bible

By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
New International Version

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
The Amplified Bible

[Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was not visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By this [his faith which relied on God] he passed judgment and sentence on the world’s unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness (that relation of being right into which God puts the person who has faith).
Wuest’s Expanded Translation

By faith Noah, having been divinely warned concerning the things not seen, with reverent care prepared an ark for the preservation of his household; by means of which [faith] he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Phillips’ Modern English

It was through faith that Noah, on receiving God’s warning of impending disaster with reverence, constructed an ark to save his household. This action of faith condemned the unbelief of the rest of the world, and won for Noah the righteousness before God which follows such a faith.
Williams’ Language of the People

By faith Noah, on being divinely warned about things not seen as yet, in reverence prepared an ark for saving his family, and by his faith condemned the world and become possessor of the uprightness that results from faith.
