Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. |

In this we know experientially that in Him we are dwelling and He Himself in us, because He has given us from His Spirit as a source [spiritual gifts and their operation] as a permanent gift. |

And the guarantee of our living in Him and His living in us is the share of His own Spirit which He gives us. |
By the fact that He has given us a portion of His Spirit we can be sure that we remain in union with Him and He in union with us. |
