Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough?

Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough?

[About the condition of your ekklesia] your boasting is not good [indeed, it is most unseemly and entirely out of place]. Do you not know that [just] a little leaven will ferment the whole lump [of dough]?

Your boasting [in the state of the local assembly] is not seemly or fitting. Do you not know with a positive assurance that a little yeast permeates and affects the entire bread dough with itself?

Your pride in yourselves is lamentably out of place. Don't you know how a little yeast can permeate the whole lump?

Your ground for boasting about such a case is not good. Are you not aware that a little yeast will change the whole lump of dough?
