And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. |
“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. |
And whoever causes one of these little (humble) ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had (has) be cast into the sea. |
“And if anyone causes one of these one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck. |
And whoever causes one of these little ones (these believers) who acknowledge and cleave to Me to stumble and sin, it would be better (more profitable and wholesome) for him if a [huge] millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. |
And whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it is good for him rather if a millstone is hung around his neck and that he has been thrown into the sea. |
And I tell you too, that the man who disturbs the faith of one of the humblest of those who believe in Me would be better off if he were thrown into the sea with a great mill-stone hung around his neck! |
And whoever leads one of these lowly believers to do wrong, might better have a huge millstone hung around his neck and be thrown into the sea. |
