What is evil?
When is evil a national threat?
When is evil a global threat?
[Q]

The above post is fictitiously attributed to Q but it is not really from Q nor from any Q-anon. It is written in the style of a Q post and it is possibly similar to something that someday soon Q might post as more and more is exposed about the lethal extent to which child sex trafficking rings have been used to gain and wield political power in America and around the world. But is evil only a threat when it hits national or global levels? Is that the time when evil should be dealt with?

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote: “The line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?” (Gulag Archipelago) One could add, “And who is able to destroy a piece of their own heart?” Apart from the work of God, in its myriad forms, one simply is not able to progress far down this path toward true goodness, a path that sooner or later requires one to come before the cross of Christ.

The Spirit of Shame

What is evil and why is it so prevalent in human behavior? David Williams wrote:

But the spirit of Satan has kept its name hidden from the very beginning. It does not like to be seen openly, or expressed. We can determine its name by a quick study in Genesis. One minute, there stood Adam and Eve before God, naked and unashamed. The next minute, they stood covering their shame, no longer able to face God without a covering to hide their physical “shame,” but also used self justification for their fall in order to hide their emotional shame. ( Gen. 2:25-3:13; top ) Type and shadow. Both the visible and invisible are shown. Carnal and spiritual.

Think of it. Everything God had created in them was still there, but corruption had been added. See here that shame was the corruption, and that “shame” is the name of Satan’s spirit. Shame speaks of being rejectable, and Satan had fallen from being loved to being rejected by God, the ultimate fall. It has since been the program of Satan to instill his spirit in each of us, making us more like him than like God. And in so doing, to deceive us into not even knowing we have his spirit hidden in us.

Shame is the opposite of love, and since Jesus is Love, that means shame is the spirit of Antichrist, and it dwells in each of us. We will show how this came to be.

Satan does not want us to know exactly where to focus for all the evil we have in this world. It is time we found out and destroyed his weapon. This, rather than to focus on shame’s symptoms of hate, strife, envy, and such, and miss the real mark. This is so obvious that we missed seeing it for all these centuries… Let’s connect iniquity and shame by showing how it entered each and every one of us. ( Opening Spiritual Eyes , chap. 5, Two Kinds of Spirits )

After God had pronounced judgment on Adam and Eve’s act of disobedience, He said “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever…” God then banished them from the garden He had made for them. ( Gen. 3:22-24; top )

God, in His wisdom, saw that evil was a dire threat to His creation. It was a threat sufficient to warrant keeping fallen mankind away from the source of eternal life, euphemized as “the Tree of Life.” ( Gen. 3:22 ) God considered the evil now present in these two people, Adam and Eve, to be a universal threat that would require a unique, one-of-a-kind, yet universal and eternal solution, the Lamb who would be slain to take away the sin of the world. ( Jn. 1:29; top )

Evil became a global threat in the days of Noah and God sent the flood when He “saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” ( Gen. 6:5 ) After the flood had receded and Noah had offered a sacrifice, “the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, ‘I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.’” ( Gen. 8:21 ) Destruction of the human race, though deserved, was not to be the end of the story of destroying evil. John wrote, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” ( 1 Jn. 3:8; top ) Jesus did not come to destroy the corrupted creation, the handiwork of God, but rather only the deeply entrenched corruption, the handiwork of the devil, that had separated mankind from their Creator.

Human Sacrifice

Almost 400 years after the flood, God tested Abraham, saying, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” And Abraham did as God had said. ( Gen. 22:1-3 ) But when everything was prepared, with Isaac laid out on the altar to be sacrificed, “the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, ‘Abraham, do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.’” Abraham then saw a ram caught in a nearby bush, sacrificed it instead of Isaac, “and Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide (Hebrew YHWH Yireh); as it is said to this day, ‘In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.’” ( Gen. 22:9-14; top )

God commanded Abraham to do an evil thing and then, at the last minute restrained him. What was that all about? Everyone who has studied the Scriptures recognizes that God was testing Abraham to see what he would or would not withhold from God. ( Gen. 22:12; top ) But few have seen that God also wanted to reveal Himself as different from the false heathen gods who would not restrain their followers from sacrificing their children. In the mount of the LORD it shall be made abundantly clear that the Most High God is different from the other demonic gods.

Consider what the religious and spiritual alternative was:

Molech, Moloch. The Old Testament often speaks of the fact that Israelites at times of apostasy made their children ‘go through the fire to Molech.’ ( 2 Ki. 23:10 ; cf. Jer. 7:31 ; 19:5 ) In some passages the reference is clearly to a deity to whom human sacrifice was made, particularly in the Valley of Hinnom on the southwest of the Jerusalem hill ( 2 Ki. 23:10 ; Jer. 32:35 ) at a site known as Topheth (‘fire pit’ in Syriac). The deity is associated with Ammon in 1 Ki. 11:7 , where reference is made to ‘the abomination of the Ammonites.’ The worship of Molech seems to have been associated with the sacrifice of children in the fire. ( Lev. 18:21 ; 20:2-5 ; 2 Ki. 23:10 ; Jer. 32:35 ; cf 2 Ki. 17:31; top )

When we look more closely at the etymology of the word, some interesting facts emerge. Some commentators consider that the Hebrew consonants of melek, ‘king,’ and the vowels of boset, ‘shame,’ were combined to form Hebrew molek, which expressed contempt for the heathen god. But there is another possibility which suggests that in some passages the term Moloch may not refer to a deity. Some Carthaginian-Phoenician (Punic) inscriptions from the period 400-150 bc imply that the word mlk (pronounced molk in Latin inscriptions from Carthage about ad 200) is a general term for ‘sacrifice’ or ‘offering,’ and a number of Old Testament passages may be interpreted as saying that men caused children to go through the fire ‘for a molek sacrifice or votive offering.’ In such passages as Lev. 18:21 ; 20:3-5 ; 2 Ki. 23:10 ; Jer. 32:35; top the translation must remain an open question.

These observations do not deny that a deity Molech is referred to in the Bible. (He is referred to in the av twice as Molech: Amos 5:26 ; Acts 7:43 ) He is known as the national god of Ammon in 1 Ki. 11:7 . He may be identified with the deity muluk worshipped at Muri about 1800 bc, and malik, known from Akkadian texts, and appearing in the compound forms Adrammelech and Anammelech in 2 Ki. 17:31 . In some Old Testament passages the word Molech carries the article suggesting that the word may have been an appellative for ‘the one who rules.’ ( Lev. 18:21 ; 20:2-5 ; 2 Ki. 23:10 ; Jer. 32:35 ) In Jer. 32:35; top there seems to be a connection with Baal, whose name is also an appellative, and to whom, as Baal-melqart, human sacrifices were offered at Tyre.

The practice of offering children as human sacrifices was condemned in ancient Israel. Apart from general references to Molech in Jer. 49:1 , 3 and perhaps Amos 1:5 , or to the cult of Molech in 1 Ki. 11:7 , 33 ; Zeph. 1:5 and some special passages noted above, the inference is clear in the Old Testament that child-sacrifice was practiced by some in Israel. The law of Moses demanded the death of anyone who offered his child to Molech or as a sacrifice. ( Lev. 18:21 ; 20:2-5 ) Solomon, however, built a high place for this god in ‘the hill that is before (east of) Jerusalem,’ i.e. the Mount of Olives. ( 1 Ki. 11:7 ) Several references in the Old Testament to child-sacrifice, while not referred specifically to Molech, may be included here. ( Psa. 106:38 ; Jer. 7:31 ; 19:4-5 ; Ezek. 16:21 ; 23:37 , 39 ) King Ahaz, c. 730 bc, burnt his children in the fire ( 2 Chr. 28:3 ), and Manasseh did the same. ( 2 Ki. 21:6 ) Samaria was judged for this sin. ( 2 Ki. 17:17 ) Josiah, in Judah, destroyed the high places of Molech. ( 2 Ki. 23:10 , 13 ) Ezekiel was still condemning the practice early in the 6th century bc ( Ezek. 16:20 ff; 20:26 , 31 ; 23:37; top ) The Exile seems to have put an end to this worship in Israel, but it lingered on in northern Africa among the Carthaginian Phoenicians into the Christian era.

There is a great deal to unpack here so let us begin by looking at the question of who practiced child sacrifices. God said to the children of Israel:

“Again, you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people (put him to death), because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name. And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from (disregard) the man, when he gives some of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him, then I will set My face against that man and against his family; and I will cut him off from his people, and all who prostitute themselves with him to commit harlotry with Molech.’” ( Lev. 20:2-5; top )

No mercy whatsoever was to be shown to those who sacrificed children to Molech. They were to be stoned. So strict was God on this point that He promised to judge and execute those who merely turned a blind eye toward those who practiced the child sacrifices to Molech. God is extremely serious about His people avoiding this practice!

But even though the law of Moses demanded death of those who practiced this grotesque idolatry, kings (Solomon, Ahaz, Manasseh) and princes and priests and the people of Samaria were among those who practiced this murderous idolatry. This is reportedly being repeated today as many wealthy elites are reviving this ancient cult. It is now being reported that Yuri Andropov, head of the Russian KGB, in the 1950s was responsible for creating child prostitution rings to lure in Western politicians so that they could be blackmailed and controlled. These rings have proliferated and now are rampant throughout the world. It is now also reported that this revived cult of Molech has been practiced on Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Saint James Island as well as in other places around the world.

It is not to be supposed that evil has suddenly and from out of nowhere suddenly reached the level of a national or global threat. Evil has always been that. Rather, it is that evil has become so visible that it is reaching into our own visible “back yards” and we finally feel we must do something about the vast destruction being committed to children and adult victims around the world. Yet it seems impossible to separate the spread of evil from what the Q-anons call “the great awakening.” Without experiencing some kind of evil, it seems, the normal person does not awake to the dangers of that evil. And this is an appropriate response but even waking up the people will never be sufficient to eradicate evil from the planet.

Even if we were somehow able to rid the planet of every single pedophile and follower of Molech, there will still be evil in the world because we ourselves are corrupted with the seed and spiritual heritage of Satan. The line of good and evil still runs through the heart of every person – man, woman and child. The only effective solution to evil is the atoning sacrifice of Christ that empowers us to personally overcome sin, self and Satan as we progressively follow Him and obey Him in all things in our own personal lives. This is the narrowing, straitening road behind the narrow gate that leads to life eternal and abundant. ( Mt. 7:13-14 , Jn. 10:10 ) Evil will only be entirely removed from the planet when the King Christ has returned, ruled with a rod of iron and Satan has been finally judged. ( Rev. 19:11-16 , 20:1-3; top )

Who is the Devil?

Just who is this spiritual being the Old Testament calls Molech? It is significant that the Hebrew writers specifically used a direct article to refer to him as a specific being, making him “the one who rules” over the activity spoken of. In the New Testament, Paul writes:

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.” ( Eph. 2:1-3; top )

And John tells us that

“the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” ( 1 Jn. 5:19; top )

In searching out the other name ascribed to him – Baal – Paul writes, “But what does the divine response say to him? ‘I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.’” ( Rom. 11:4 ) When Jesus was being tempted by the devil, offered the kingdoms of the world in an alternative way than that of God that would lead Him to the cross, He said to the devil, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” ( Mt. 4:8-10 ) Though Satan had boasted that he would be like (similar to) the Most High God ( Isa. 14:14 ), God knows that he simply cannot attain to this boast and that true Godhood is not a thing to be attained to or grasped. ( Phlp. 2:6 ) Though Satan aspires to this height and will even seat himself in the temple of God ( 2 Ths. 2:4; top ), Satan simply cannot be worshiped as God by those who do worship the one true God because Satan simply is not God and never will be like Him.

Let us recall from the description of Molech that “Some commentators consider that the Hebrew consonants of melek, ‘king,’ and the vowels of boset, ‘shame,’ were combined to form Hebrew molek, which expressed contempt for the heathen god.” Was it really and only contempt for this heathen god or was it a veiled reference to the most ancient of gods, the King of Shame himself, Lucifer, the devil and Satan (enemy)? Our “Sunday school” version of the garden of Eden tells us it was a “piece of fruit” that Eve ate but that is unlikely. If it were, our shame would make us cover our mouths. If, on the other hand, the “fruit of the tree” were a sex act, it would explain why our shame most causes us to cover our genitals. There is no aspect of human existence more associated with shame and guilt than is sexual relations – and only in marriage between husband and wife has God blessed sexual relations and provided humans with a way to abandon that shame.

From the Scriptures, then, it is reasonable to conclude that the Ammonite deity named Moloch is none other than Satan himself, the serpent of Genesis 3 and the dragon of Revelation 12 (etc.), the entity that Jesus Himself called “a murderer from the beginning” and said that “the truth is not in him.” ( Jn. 8:44; top )

As we contemplate the end times, is it a coincidence then that Molech is called “the abomination of the Ammonites”? Jesus’ warning – “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),” ( Mt. 24:15 , Dan. 9:27 , 12:11 ) – takes on a new significance in this light. Child sacrifice in a rebuilt temple of God in Jerusalem would certainly be Satan’s demonstration that he sits in God’s temple and it would certainly be an abomination that causes God to bring desolation. ( Ezek. 20:26; top ) Would Satan, who does not possess truth and who probably disdains humans as mere animals anyway, even think it any different sacrificing a sheep, an ox, a pig, a human or a child? The only difference might be in his knowledge that God calls the latter abominations and thus it is a greater affront to the One True Most High God.

Of the end times, Daniel was told, “Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.” ( Dan. 12:10-11; top ) This prophecy is being fulfilled on a global scale as being “red pilled” (having one’s eyes opened to the truth about good and evil in the world) is now a common phrase. Painting in broad strokes, the liberal leftists consider the conservative right to be insane and vice versa. The former do not understand nor recognize the evil roots of the things they espouse and practice while the conservatives do understand and recognize and resist the evil the liberals wish to unleash upon the world as many on the right labor mightily to help awaken those who are asleep in ignorance. The prophecy only needs to have some world leader make a covenant or treaty that enables the Jews to again practice sacrifices to God in Jerusalem to start the clock ticking on the final seven years of Satan’s rulership over the earth.

Hell and Destruction

Where was Ammon? The principal city of the Ammonites was the city of Rabbah-Amma, which is modern-day Aman, Jordan. The valley of Hinnom, the valley to the east of Jerusalem, was, after child sacrifice had been abolished and discontinued, the valley used for the burning of the trash and refuse from Jerusalem and came to be commonly called Gehenna which is used in the New Testament as a picture of hell. This seems quite appropriate as this valley becomes the picture of hell where the real trash and refuse of the human race, those who have chosen evil rather than good, will be burned in the lake of fire for all of eternity. Those who desire the god Satan or Lucifer will share in his eternal fiery fate. ( Mt. 25:41; top )

We must recognize that child sacrifice was never God’s plan or intent. God said to Jeremiah, “Because they have forsaken Me and made this an alien place, because they have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they, their fathers, nor the kings of Judah have known, and have filled this place with the blood of the innocents (they have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or speak, nor did it come into My mind) therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that this place shall no more be called Tophet or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.” ( Jer. 19:4-6 ) Because child sacrifice is not God’s plan but is Satan’s, it is neither just nor good and must therefore come under God’s judgment. The evil people have polluted the land with blood ( Psa. 106:38 ), the blood of innocents. ( Jer. 19:4; top ) This is a big deal with God. Consider these four passages:

“So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement (covering) can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it. Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel’” ( Num 35:33-34 )

“Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.” ( Lev. 18:24-25 )

“Moreover all the leaders of the priests and the people transgressed more and more, according to all the abominations of the nations, and defiled the house of the LORD which He had consecrated in Jerusalem. And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.” ( 2 Chr. 36:14-16 )

“Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’?” ( Jer. 7:9-10; top )

These instructions are generally misunderstood or even flagrantly ignored. It seems forgotten that God is pure and that those who follow Him are also to be pure. ( 1 Jn. 3:3 ) We must obey Jesus’ command to “Go and sin no more.” ( Jn. 8:11 ) It has always been Satan’s strategy against believers to count themselves “saved by grace” so that they can practice their favorite sins with impunity and in presumed immunity from God’s judgment. ( Rom. 6:1 ) This fallacy, enacted in an individual’s life, is precisely Satan’s deceptive scheme because in the end everyone will stand before God’s judgment seat and give account for their deeds. ( Rom. 2:6 , Rev. 20:12 , etc.) Those who truly stand in Christ’s grace will have worked out their salvation with fear and trembling ( Phlp. 2:12 ) not with negligence and ignorance of spiritual matters. ( 2 Pet. 3:17; top ) This same fallacy, being enacted on a global scale, is the scheme by which Satan intends to pollute or defile the land and thus bring the world under God’s judgment, so that, having practiced these abominations, the world will vomit out all the inhabitants. This is the murderous intent with which Satan views all of mankind.

The Power of Darkness

In America, we have enjoyed freedom of religion. This freedom is being taken from Christians even as this right, given to us by our Creator, is used by Satanists to practice their religion. But no religion that practices crimes against others can be permitted to continue, whether it be a pseudo-“Christian” cult that deceives, abuses and robs its followers of money or it be a Satanic cult that deprives its victims of their freedom, health and lives. The problem has entered in that politicians and judges, who make and enforce the laws of the land, have been compromised by their own involvement with sex crimes, many with children. It is not that Americans will need to change their laws or Constitution, we merely must remove the corrupted officials from office and then enforce the laws that already exist, beginning with these corrupted officials.

But yet again, this will not remove evil from the planet. It will restrain evil – which is the appropriate role of civil government. Paul wrote, “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” ( Rom. 13:1-4; top ) It is government’s role as God’s servant to execute wrath on evil doers. Government oversteps its boundaries when it becomes the servant of evil to enact and propagate evil on good people. This is a no-brainer to those who seek to do good and to live quiet, peaceful lives.

In the end, the power of darkness will have its day, Satan’s opportunity to demonstrate that he is not capable of being like the Most High God – whether any Christian believers remain on earth at that time is a matter of debate between theologians and will not be resolved here. “But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.” ( Rev. 9:20 ) Wicked men will not repent and they will come under the judgment of God but they will still wield power: “And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world… And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed… He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.” ( Rev. 13:8 , 12 , 15; top ) But for all this, the power of darkness ends only in death.

In the Revelation, we find a cryptic description that “in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.” ( Rev. 10:7; top ) “The mystery of God would be finished.” Mystery we know to be a divinely revealed “secret,” a “secret” known to God but not know to man unless He shares that secret. But we know that God is infinite and He can never be fully revealed to mortal man. How can the divinely revealed secret of God be finished?

The answer to that question is a paradox that the mind can gaze at but only the spirit will grasp its truth. Let us approach this paradox by looking at something we are more familiar with and then proceed to the spiritual, the mystical, the eternal. We say that a person is red pilled when they begin to see the truth about the evil nature of this world. But, quite specifically, what is the nature of this world? In a word, evil. It is our confrontations with evil that has “red pilled” us. In our red pill moments and processes, we honestly faced the evil reality that surrounded us and turned toward a different way. In making that turn away from evil, we turned, however imperfectly, directly toward God.

We can state this paradox in very simple language but only the spirit will grasp the depths.

Evil proves God.

Let that sink in.

How can this be? Even Satan is God’s servant. (see the lying spirit sent by God for the most obvious example – 1 Ki. 22:23 ) What is intended for evil, God uses for good. ( Gen. 50:20 ) “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” ( Rom. 8:28; top )

The mystery of God is finished when evil has done its work. This cannot be explained. It can only be understood or not. It is not imperative that one understand or agree with this truth yet with this truth comes great liberty. We are free to see the evil around us and turn toward the good that is and comes from God Himself. In regard to evil itself, however, there are really only a few warnings that must be sounded:

Let he who has ears hear.
